- Deck donations have reset!

-Our group special donation this month will be red haired characters! Pleas make sure not to donate anyone who is in the brown hair deck, as there are some characters that could apply to either color.

- That MONTHLY CHALLENGE thing I mentioned last release will go up October first I am sorry it totally slipped my mind with school starting.

-We are looking for NEW MODS to run a game or two! Please PM me if you are interested, especially if you have game ideas!

-Look out for a new kind of deck next month! Puzzle decks will have 9 cards and be comprised of a single image.

I'm sure a lot of you have seen the writing on the wall with this, and it took me a while to bring myself to come to this decision, but as much as I love this game, I'm sorry to announce that I will be stepping down from my leadership position in Artes.

So I'm sure you all want to know what exactly this means. In all likelihood this will mean that Artes will close at the end of the month. I would be more than happy to hand it off to someone else, but at this point I feel the game has hit a lull that would take a lot of work to pull it out of. I know that I don't have the time or energy to do so, but if someone else thinks they do, feel free to message me!

Otherwise, I just want to thank everyone, from my fellow staff to our players, your help and enthusiasm is what's kept this game going as long as it has, and I've enjoyed all these months playing this game with you. I'm truly grateful for how much love and support everyone has given to us, and I hope to see you all around somewhere or another! If you have any questions I haven't addressed here, please feel free to ask.

Patty is on a search for Aifread's treasure! But on her journey, she's stumbled on some extra treasures she has no room for! If you can show her some of your own treasure, she may be willing to part with her own as thanks! She's got an extra treat for expert treasure hunters like herself, too!

This game rewards you for simply owning a randomly selected bunch of cards! Every month a set of 60 cards will be randomized, for every card in your possession (even ones you've turned in already for masteries!) you will receive a reward! This months set is so:

RELEASE CLAIMS
You may claim 5 character cards and 1 special card, and 1 puzzle card! You can only personally claim one card from any given deck!

BONUSES
-Bonus cards do not have to be release cards! They can be any card currently available in the game.

-You may claim one extra card (can be the same deck as one of your regular claims) if your birthday is in OCTOBER.

- You may claim one extra card per referral (see list below).

-If you donated to the group donation deck you may claim all the cards you donated as a bonus. (If it was used for the mastery you may claim any card.)

- DISCUSSION: It's (or it was) halloween! So lets talk about costumes! Anything from characters you've cosplayed to costumes in games that are your favorites is fair game to comment on.

The October release is going to be pushed to October 31st! We only have 6 regular and 1 special donation for October, so we're allowing last minute donations up until October 30th! if we don't get enough decks, the number of slots you can claim may have to be reduced.

This week's track is from Tales of Vesperia! Since it's been a while (and Caitie loves too many songs from this game) we're having a double round!

The first one makes Mao think of ancient temples and water... And the second one sounds like a pretty dramatic fight!!

If you can tell Mao the names of the track or where it plays you will win four cards for each one! He'll also give you a bonus gel if you name both. This round ends November 2th!

WORDS TO FIND: Aya Hisakawa, Chiwa Saito, Eiji Takemoto, Kosuke Toriumi, Kumiko Watanabe, Mai Nakahara, Mamoru Miyano, Rika Morinaga

For every two words you find, you get a card! There are eight words to find this round! If you find all of them, you'll get a gel as well! That's four random cards and one random gel you can win! Lucky!

This round also has one special seiyuu hidden in the puzzle! Can you find it and tell me which character they voice? If you can find the seiyuu and tell me who they voice, you will receive two extra random cards and a random gel! However, if you get one wrong or just give me one answer, you will get nothing. :C

Rules:
1) Post an image of your puzzle! Circle it however you want, but please do so that I can read the words!!
2) Comments are screened so that you can't steal anyone else's puzzle! The King of Windor will not stand for cheating!
3) Words can be found in various ways: horizontal, vertical, diagonal. They can be either backwards or forwards as well.
4) If you need to resize the image to fit your computer screen, that is completely acceptable! As long as I can read the words through your circles/highlights, it doesn't matter what resolution it's in! (ex: if you need to take a 803x799 image down to 563x560, it doesn't matter! I will accept any form of the image.)

Note: I will give you an extra gel if you give me more suggestions. I'm running out of ideas again woops.

2) At the end of each week, I will count votes for each character individually! Whoever gets the most votes wins the round! Whoever gets the least loses terribly. Think about who you should vote for! Comments are screened so you can't count how many votes a particular character has.

Rieze Maxia's most daring reporter is back in action, with a new schedule! From now on, she'll be asking for your help every other Sunday! (So Roving Reporter and Sing-a-Long will alternate.)

For her next article, Leia decided to write about princesses! She interviewed a lot of them! So many, in fact, she somehow managed to mix up their names so now she's not sure who is who! She solicited some help from friends to pick out the best interviews, but she still needs to figure out who they are.

Jude's Pick: While one faction backs her as the rightful heir to the throne, this princess would rather have her nose in a book! She sets out on her adventure to learn more about the special healing power she has.

Milla's Pick: Baiba! This princess travels to another world to prevent a catastrophe from occurring, using the power of... the great crayons? Something like that. She had a little trouble at first, what with no one being able to understand her language.

Leia's Pick: Though she may technically be a princess, this girl is so far down the line of succession she decided to just become a knight instead. She told Leia that her adventure started when she met a young man who, unlike normal humans, is able to see the Divine.

Gaius' Pick: This last princess may not be royalty by blood, but she sure as heck commands the love of her people! Though some may see her as bossy, she is a seasoned diplomat and extremely talented with a bow.

If you can tell Leia the names of these princesses she'll give you four cards each! All four of them are featured in the Royalty deck, if you can also name the fifth princess in the deck, you'll get a bonus gel (Note: you must specify which fits each description, you can't just guess!) This round will end October 26th!

If you managed to complete all four challenges, you will win an additional bonus of 5 cards, meaning you can get as many as 45 cards for completing every challenge!

At the end of the month, four people will be chosen at random to win the SUPER SECRET BONUS PRIZE! Anyone who completes at least two challenges is eligible to win the bonus prize.

RULES

● For our eighth special donations deck, we're looking for red-haired characters! Anything (screen caps, character art, Kizna/Card Evolve cards, etc.) that comes from an official source will be accepted for this deck! As long as it has a red-haired character of any kind (minus fully animal characters!) in it, its free to be in this deck! If any of you fight about hair being red or brown or pink I'll slap you. But- please make sure not to donate anyone who is in the brown hair deck, as there are some characters that could apply to either color and we want to give everyone we can a chance to be in a hair deck!

● Players will each donate one to two cards fitting the theme of the special donations deck in the comments. Its like gathering images for a deck donation, but with a little bit of everyone included!

● When this round closes, players will be chosen to have their images included in the deck! Regardless of whether your images were included in the deck or not, you will be rewarded with 1 random card for participation. If you your image is chosen for the final deck you will receive 1 random card, 1 random gel, and the cards you donated that made it into the deck. If your card(s) is/are used for the mastery, you'll be offered the chance to pick your card(s) from the deck yourself.

● If, by chance, not enough images are donated before the deadline, an announcement will be made offering players who have already submitted a picture the chance to donate one more picture to include in the deck. In this case, if both images are used, you would receive 1 random card, 1 random gel, and both your cards that made it into the deck. You can only donate a maximum of two cards each month. Even if the post goes up and you have already donated two cards, you cannot donate a third.

● Please make sure your image is a good size and of high quality. In the event the image is too blurry or small, I will ask you for another image.

Special donations deck entries will remain open till October 26th.
Please use this form, or entries for the deck will not be considered.
