This round's question:

What Tales games have you not played and want to play?

This round ends on March 23rd to make up for my lateness! Have a great two weeks!

The more I look at the Hearts characters' cards, the more I want to play it. I can't even tell you why, other than "I like rocks and they're all named for rocks" and "Kohaku has purple eyes" which are superficial reasons, huh?

I own Innocence (in Japanese, though) and Legendia and in theory I *could* play those at any time. And I do want to. Someday. I know huge chunks of Legendia's story thanks to friends; Innocence is more compelling to me at the moment.

The game that I'd really like to play is Rebirth... I own it, but I don't speak Japanese. I could play it with a guide or something but I just don't think it'd be very fun to be looking at text every minute just to know what's going on. And since I'd have to use the translated videos to know the story anyway, I may as well just watch them on their own. I just wish I could actually play it in English.

I'd say Rebirth is probably tops on my list of games to actually play that I don't yet own... that and the PS2 version of Tales of Destiny. Nothing's ever quite the same as sitting in front of the TV with controller in hand to play a game, even if I know the story already!

I really want to play Legendia! I actually have the guidebook for it since I worked at a game store and we were just getting rid of old books. But we didn't have the game so I couldn't buy it. I still don't own it and idek why, but someday I will play it.

Besides Xillia 2, I recently felt like playing Hearts because of Hisui. He looks just like my type of character

And that's how i get into games; most shallow reasons ever lmao

Any of the Radiant Mythology games, since those always looked fun to me! Alas I don't have a psp, and considering not all of them are translated it would make it difficult anyway.

tales of hearts

IT LOOKS SO GOOD IDE i'm so upset the only translation project of it online i can find is an absolute joke. you don't understand how much you hurt me by lying that this is not an actual project, okay...

i know i can read an LP of it on youtube, but i want to play it. sob.

You mean the absolute zero project? I'm pretty sure that's real, it's just still a work in progress.

That's the hacker for the A0 project. I haven't really been watching the translation project much but he doesn't seem to like writing straightforward blog posts. I'd suggest tracking it through the actual translator's (Throughhim's) posts on the A0 site. Considering how nice the job on Innocence was, I'm sure it'll be great when it's finished.

oh huh, is he? well he's incredibly frustrating, to say the least...

i'm sure they'll do a wonderful job too, but this is incredibly way too long, wow.

... Pretty much any tales game I haven't played yet, I would like to play. In particular, the Radiant Mythology series, and just about any of the games where the various Tales characters cross over into one universe. I really just enjoy the Tales characters interacting with each other.

I really, really want to play Hearts and Rebirth! Some of the characters look like my type ;) And I'm really interested in the story about these two.

I would also want to play Legendia, Innocence, and Destiny ... The Radiant Mythology games, too, maybe!

I want to get around to playing Rebirth! I just have this feeling I'd love Tytree, I guess. I also want to play the hell out of PS2 Destiny because as much as I've already played PSX Destiny and the sequel, I love the hell out of the cast, damnit. I've also heard such great things about Legendia from two of my friends in particular that I want to play it, aaaaaaa.

Like pretty much everyone here, I want to play Rebirth too. And the PS2 Director's Cut version of Tales of Destiny too! AND THE PORT OF VESPERIA FOR THE PS3, please don't open old wounds again ;_;

Due to xbox shenanigans, I completely missed out on the chance to play Vesperia and it makes me super mad! I don't know anything about the game, beyond that Yuri can be kind of a jerk, though? I've been actively avoiding details in the vain hope that one day the PS3/4 will see a dubbed port of it...

Lofty dreams, I know.

I really want to play Tales of Breaker (which will never happen because AHAHA mobile games for phone companies that don't exist in America) because I want to see if my "Breaker is prototype Xillia" theory is plausible sob

Alternatively, I want to play the Narikiri Dungeon X and Summoner's Lineage just so I can say I played the entire Aselia timeline. I played a bit of both, but I can't read Japanese. ;w;

But in general, I want to play any game I haven't already played orz

Probably Destiny and Eternia, since they're actually in English but I haven't played them. Plus they both have things I like from what I roughly (and probably incorrectly know). tragic magical swords!? made-up language?! hell yeah

Rebirth and Hearts for non-english releases. Since Rebirth seems interesting and Hearts was fun for the hour-ish I played stumbling with no Japanese.

Also the other two Radian Mythology games. The first one was fun (but i don't think i could go back to it now...)

I haven't played Vesperia! Weirdly enough. But it's probably the Tales game I want to play the most right now, haha.

I love how lots of people above me want to play Hearts and Rebirth♥ they're my absolute favourites along with the Destinies and Xillias but that's not the point here haha.

I've played almost all the released mothership Tales games but I haven't beaten Phantasia, not even halfway of it (shame on me because it was the first game in the series) orz so I guess that... and Innocence R, it's been sitting here for sometime um.

As for the escort ones, I guess Tempest (it's supposed to be a mothership dammit lol). Also dem mobile titles... not too interested in these though frankly.
