I've had those moments where I do avoid popular ships, since I tend to just ship based on what I like despite popularity or not... Asch/Natalia is really is a cute ship as is Anise/Ion *u*

pffff yeah same.. I think I tend to go for most non-canon ships myself ;; tales or otherwise! it's a lot more exciting to think of possibilities than trying to see what the story has laid out for the "main ship".

and I don't have that many crack ships myself either-- they're mostly from old RPs that never went away. So I can totally understand being annoying over the rare times you do have a crack ship.

Van/Asch just makes a lot of sense to me, though for Abyss I also ship Jade/Dist, Asch/Luke, Guy/Asch, Guy/Luke, Van/Guy, Ion/Anise, and Jade/Luke (this one is guilty pleasure ship since I don't actually think it makes sense I just love fanart).

I love friendships / platonic ships, but there are some ships that I just really love "romantic" in all their fucked up glory. I am pretty open to shipping whatever, because sometimes it's a fun challenge to see how you can plausibly come up with a way for two characters to icly or at least only slightly AUly be together, you know?


anyway so pairings that I ship like burning include:

Jade & Peony (platonic, romantic, whatever man these two are life partners; Peony is Jade's moral compass, and Jade's got Peony's back so it works out), Jude x everyone, but no seriously Jude & Milla, Jude & Alvin, Jude & Gaius, Milla & Jude & Alvin, older Elize x Jude, Teepo x Jude's Face....., Alvin x Presa ( ;o; ), Gaius x Wingul (aww yeah catty schoolgirl Wingul I mean um), Sheena & Zelos, Lloyd & Colette, Jay & Jade comedy duo (no ok I just want to see them be terrible to someone together), Jade & Zelos Viva La Tales Of Hosting Duo (basically I just want these two to forever be hosts of Viva ok), Peony & Nephry, Natalia & Asch, Guy & Noelle, Anise & Ion, and -- ok no I will stop now. I have LOTS OF SHIPS and can keep going....
