Ermm I like the master/servant (but not really) relationship that Guy/Luke has, so I totally ship them that way. Can't say no to good osananajimi characters, can I? XD

Also I ship everyone in ToL THEY'RE LIKE A SINGLE ENTITY, YOU CAN'T SEPARATE THEM IN ANY WAY... If one person goes away, the other 7 follows. I like that o3o

Well my favorite ship right now is Milla/Jude but in general... I prefer family stuff over romantic pairings.

So you can probably guess what my favorite dynamic in Tales of Symphonia is... and also in Legendia (it's still hard for me to ship Senel and Shirley romantically, even though the game pushes it in that direction.) I also like how the characters in a lot of the Tales games end up becoming a big pseudo-family.

I prefer non-romantic ships to romantic ones, in general. . . family or rival or bff dynamics are my favorites! Though that said, I do ship a little bit because it's impossible not to :'D Especially in Abyss (Luke/Tear, Anise/Ion, Guy/Natalia. . .)

Welp. Raven/Rita pretty much explain my favorite types of pairing in general. But it's one of my favorites. Pretty much if its anything in Vesperia then I probably ship it tbh.

I like most positive dynamics, really! Hell, for the most part I don't even mind most of my romantic ships as platonic ones. Although, I'm not too fond of the whole ~rivals~ thing. (Okay, flynn and yuri are sort of an exception.)

What do you mean the question asks for specific examples? Well I guess as far as romantic ships go I ship Chaltier/Leon a whole lot. Kyle/Reala too. And lots of other things, like Rita/Estelle, Klarth/Milard, Richard/Asbel... I also ship quite a few things platonically as well! I love Guy and Luke's relationship, as well as previously mentioned Yuri and Flynn. And I most definitely adore all the sibling relationships we see.

I like all kinds of ships, platonic, romantic, hate-based, anything. I will always ship my favourite character with someone though, and I kinda ship Yuri/Jude even though they're not even in the same freaking game

i only exist to ship (and am also warden of gay baby jail), and i'm over here currently obsessed with alvin/jude from tales of xillia.

i really love pairings where the two characters really gel together, are close friends or they support one another through thick and thin. jude and alvin is a really... extreme example of this in some ways, but its an example none the less.

i also like horrible disgusting ships but we wont get into those...........

I'm a rampant alternative shipping machine, so I love things like familyships especially of the sibling variety and friendships. Also team/group dynamics hnnn. Or I'll make up ship categories that don't even mean anything but they involve relationships like the "everyone needs to go be friends with Alvin" ship

But if I had to pick a favorite ship I'm going with my default crackship Spada/Estelle because I think they'd be cute and you can't stop my spotty logic :T

I multiship like a mad woman. M/M, M/F, F/F, threesomes and moresomes, I have shipped all of these in some combination throughout most of the games I've played. In fact, it's hard for me to pick a Tales OTP^TM because I ship so dang much. Having just one ship is for chumps (crossed arms plurk emote) (I kid, I kid!)

In Abyss I mostly sail the Peony/Nephry ship because they are tragic and cute and would have been really great for each other. Also Frings/Cecille. But we don't go there.

In Symphonia it's Zelos/Sheena as both a romance ship and a truly epic friendship.

I think I could be persuaded to ship Jude/Milla and there's a bit of a naughty streak over there in the corner that ships Alvin/Leia but not with any kind of actual content or substance. Just that it would be spiffy to watch them work through their issues aboard ship. So to speak.

That's about it for standout romantic-ish ships for me. I am way more interested in how friendships develop and pretty much any two characters getting more development together is pretty great in my book.

I could talk for 100 hours minutes about pairings, both romantic and platonic.

I've only played a few games, but I'll talk about my otps and friendships I love from Vesperia, Graces, and Xillia!!

My Vesperia otps are def Yuri/Flynn and Rita/Estelle u/////u Their relationships are p dynamic and I love their types of relationships, anyway. Especially Ristelle! Both those pairings are so cute. Friendships-wise, though, I have to say everyone's relationship with Estelle, definitely! I just love Estelle, HAHA

My Graces otp Richard/Asbel and Malik/Hubert because I love their relationship (big surprise) and their interactions throughout the game. My favorite friendships are jUST EVERYBODY'S they're a huge friend-family thing and I just love it a lot tbh. Especially Sophie's relationships with Asbel, Richard, and Cheria and Hubert's with Asbel and Pascal.

My Xillia otps should be fairly obvious if you know me. If not, well. It's Alvin/Jude and Gaius/Wingul HAHA. I'm a weirdo who likes large age gaps, and Alvin's just so clingy to Jude. Also That One Scene. And Gaius/Wingul is gr9 because I just love their dynamic and they're just huge asshole dorks together ok. My favorite friendships are Jude and Elize's, Jude and Milla's, Jude and Leia's, and Milla and Leia's! But everyone's frienships are also great in this game. HHHHHHH. I am also getting more and more endeared towards Milla/Leia.

OBVIOUSLY the romantic ones are just otps and not like. The only things I ship from the games. I like other pairings, too, but these are the ones closest to my heart tbh. And I didn't talk about the two other games I've played, but I didn't want to go on 5ever about this KLJSDKLFJA MY POST IS ALREADY THE LONGEST ONE, SO ...

Things from Tales that I ship:
- Kratos/Zelos (OOPS) (but it's so horrendous and attractive and violent and volatile) (magic swordsmen unite) and a little of Zelos/Colette
- Malik/EVERYONE but especially................ Sophie.................. AND HUBERT. Apparently I wrote the first bit of Malik/Hubert in English/on Ao3, oops. Also Malik/Hubert/Richard is a great threesome, do approve.
- Gaius/Wingul because how can you not.

As a general rule I ship things that are aesthetically pleasing, things that are canon, things that make me laugh, and things that people don't approve of. Also Jade/me. oops.

I enjoy rival-ships, bro-ships, and mentor-ships most. So examples are Gaius/Wingul, Yuri/Flynn, and Milla/Jude. I SHIP A LOT OF STUFF THAT DOESN'T FALL UNDER THESE THREE CLASSIFICATIONS but those are the types I tend to ship most often.

... I'm not going into all the Tales things I ship though that is way too much.

i only have two tales ships that i really adore which is presa/alvin and yuri/flynn;; (also in the game game)

but, i do like a lot of other romantic ships and then platonic. i really like alvin/elise as friends because they can learn a lot from each other, and then there's sophie/richard for the same reason!

I ship a lot of things, but especially pairings with ages differences because I'm a horrible, horrible person. Milla/Jude is the least awful example. All the others are terrible and shameful ;-;b But I'm a big fan of platonic intergenerational friendships too, like Elize and Rowen's.

My all time favorite Tales ship is Van/Asch which really tells you everything about me that you ever needed to know!

UH.........A LOT. I like REALLY TERRIBLE ROMANTIC SHIPS and, well, everything else. I guess my main ship is Gaius/Wingul so..... you can see how my usual preference is... though I can get behind almost anything.

It's basically "What will cause Katy the most pain? There you go."

Arche/Chester. My all time favorite OTP of any Tales game!! They're stupid tsunderes that are really cute with each other and they have a bit of a bumpy road but they work through it! Arche and Chester later have a kid, too. :x In a spinoff official novel, I think, but—their relationship is also a little sad because Arche's a half elf and Chester's a human so ALONG WITH LIFESPAN there's also the fact that Arche has to wait 100 years to even see Chester again but she does wait and. '^'

No, that isn't serious. Uh. Ships. I actually don't do a lot of shipping in this series, so I'll...try...I don't have any ships for Symphonia, just ships I avoid. Nothing in Innocence. I ship Asbel/Cheria in Graces, but nothing else. I ship Asch/Natalia in Abyss...it's a good pairing. Anise/Ion is really cute but alas. I actually don't have any Xillia ships, either.

It's weird because I love gay slash a lot but in all of the popular pairings, there's just a character who I don't enjoy.

i'm a huge sucker for huge, family type dynamics! that's part of the reason i love xillia so much, the cast has this great family vibe that i'm a sucker for.

that being said, i don't... ship a lot of 'canon' tales of ships, and instead ship everything else. right now i'm most into alvin/jude, milla/leia and leia/agria! that should be enough of an indicator of the ships i like.
