Magic Lenses are pretty much the god's gift to men until the skill to gauge enemy profile happens. After and next to that, any gels that heal TP, and, later down the road, both HP/TP become favorites in gameplay and in concept. They're supposed to be like candy? How come we don't have that?

HOLY BOTTLES!! I just couldn't live without them... At least not in the games with random encounters.

No items evvveeerrr! Kidding, kidding. Hm... definitely the unconventional-sounding porkchop gel. It heals a moderate amount of HP and TP, and also cures status ailments. You can't go wrong with it!

Hm, I don't know if I've ever thought of a favorite really...I suppose I like the Miracle Gel oh no I've been unfaithful to my own worshippers because I am forever low on both TP and HP, and I don't let the AI use items, so I'm in charge of staying alive/reviving people a lot of the time...

My favourite items are either Magic Lenses or Dark Bottles. At least, they're the items I use most. Magic Lenses are so great for getting the enemy status so you know how much goddamn HP they have left. Dark Bottles are great for grinding, which happens a lot to me...

Honestly? Magic lens because I'm a completionist that wants to fill out my monster book. Even in Tales of the Abyss which doesn't even have a monster book, I use it...I just like know how much HP random monsters have, even if I can kill them in one hit.
